While Sin City has long been known as an adult playground, Las Vegas is a destination the entire family can enjoy. From shark aquariums and roller coasters to the recently opened Discovery Children’s Museum at the Smith Center, there’s plenty for kids of all ages to enjoy.

When it comes time to book a hotel for your Vegas vacation, keep in mind that some Las Vegas hotels are more family-friendly than others. We’ve rounded up five family-friendly Las Vegas hotels that the whole family will enjoy on your next Las Vegas getaway.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

You won’t find slot machines or table games at this quiet Four Seasons on the south end of The Strip. This non-gaming hotel takes care of the little ones with complimentary children’s amenities, board games and a DVD library. The hotel is also connected to Mandalay Bay, and guests can enjoy the Beach at Mandalay Bay free of charge.

Need some adults-only time? With four hours’ notice, the hotel can arrange for a babysitter while you slip away for dinner and a show at one of the neighboring casinos.

Families love this hotel for its kid-friendly attractions, including Mandalay Bay Beach. Kids can spend hours floating down a lazy river, catching waves in the 1.6-million gallon wave pool or building castles along the sandy shore. Meanwhile, parents can relax in a private cabana.

Families also enjoy strolling through the Shark Reef Aquarium, home to more than 2,000 aquatic creatures like sea turtles, giant rays and 15 species of shark.

The Adventuredome theme park has rides for kids of all ages, ranging from carousels to roller coasters. Midway games and a video arcade help keep the kids entertained, and every afternoon, families can catch free circus performances on the Midway Stage.

This whimsical medieval castle at the south end of The Strip offers family-friendly entertainment. Families can enjoy dinner and a show at the all-ages Tournament of Kings, a night of singing, jousting and eating with your fingers. Don’t miss the Fun Dungeon downstairs, where kids and adults can enjoy hours of carnival and arcade games.

The Orleans

This French Quarter-themed hotel is off The Strip, so the family can enjoy some peace and quiet away from the bustle of downtown. An onsite bowling alley, movie theater and arcade keep the kids entertained. Children ages three to 12 can crawl through a jungle gym, play video games and enjoy arts and crafts at the Kid’s Tyme child care facility while parents take a free shuttle to spend a few hours on The Strip.
