The Bahamas are celebrating 40 years of independence on July 10. In honor of the auspicious occasion, its tourist board has come up with an extravagant 40-day seaplane tour.
The trip includes visits to 16 Bahamian islands (in all, the Caribbean nation is made up of more than 700 islands, cays and islets). The hopping in between will be done aboard a private, professionally piloted seaplane.
The price of this outlandish vacation? A mere $29,700.
