Two-terminal Lanzarote Airport is just 3 miles from Arrecife, Lanzarote’s capital. Most of the flight traffic to the island (almost 70 percent) is from the UK and Germany. Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport and depart from taxi stands next to Arrivals.
Bus: Buses operate to/from Arrecife-Playa Honda bus station on bus no.4. The bus station is situated next to Arrivals.

There are 1,120 parking spaces available at the airport; the first 30 minutes are free, after which the charge is calculated on an hourly basis.

Money and communications: There are several ATMs located throughout the airport, and a bureau de change at the Travel 2000 office in Departures, on the second floor.
Eating and drinking: Facilities include cafés, bars, restaurants, an ice cream parlour and fast-food outlets, many of which are located in Departures, after security. There is also a cafeteria in the Arrivals hall.
Shopping: Shops are mostly located in Departures, after security. The new terminal, once completed, will also have extensive shopping facilities, both before and after security.
Luggage: There are no baggage storage facilities at the airport. Lost property facilities are located on the Departures floor (tel: +34 (0)928 846 001).
Other facilities: There is a pharmacy on the public concourse, and first aid on the Arrivals level.

The Hotel Beatriz (tel: +34 (0)928 591 777) and Sol Lanzarote (tel: +34 (0)928 514 888), at Puerto del Carmen, are the nearest hotels to the airport. The Gran Melia Salinas (tel: +34 (0)928 590 040) and the Occidental Teguise Playa (tel: +34 (0)928 590 654) are 15-20 minutes from the airport on the Costa Teguise. There are several other hotels nearby, including the Hotel Lancelot (tel: +34 (0)928 805 099) in Arrecife and the Hotel Fariones (tel: +34 (0)928 510 175) in Puerto del Carmen.

Disabled facilities include ramps, an elevator, accessible doors and toilets; there are also designated areas outside Departures and Arrivals where disabled passengers can be dropped-off or picked-up. Airlines can provide travellers with wheelchairs; passengers should request this service when booking their ticket. Designated parking spaces are provided.
