Eleven major airlines including American Airlines, Delta, Continental, United, US Airways, and Frontier use Lambert. Getting into Town

Rail: St Louis light rail system, Metrolink, stops at both terminals.

Taxi: There are plenty of airport taxis.

Limousine: Limousines are available. Call for advance booking (tel: 314 427 3311).

Bus: The airport has three bus services: Greyhound, Bi-State (local bus service) and Military bus transportation; services arrive and depart from a bus station located at the entrance to the intermediate parking lot. Shared-ride shuttles also provide services to downtown St Louis hotels; call for advance booking (tel: 314 427 3311).

Car Parking

The airport authority owns and operates two terminal parking garages and five parking lots that are serviced 24 hours a day by free shuttle buses. The two terminal garages offer short-term hourly parking rates, an intermediate parking lot connected by a tunnel to the main terminal offers daily parking rates and Lot D offers long-term parking. A long-term remote parking lot is also located on Cypress Road. Additional information is available from Super Park (tel: 314 890 2800).

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: A bank, bureau de change facilities, ATMs and a post office are available.

Eating and drinking: Restaurants, snack bars, fast-food outlets, bars and cafés are located in the Main Terminal.

Shopping: There are various shops at the airport, but no duty-free.

Luggage: Storage lockers are no longer available. Lambert’s Police Department handles lost and found items in the terminals and parking lots (tel: 314 426 8100).

Other facilities: These include an interfaith chapel, massage and shoe shine.

Hotels near the airport include the Best Western St Louis Airport Inn (tel: 314 427 5955), Crowne Plaza Hotel (tel: 314 291 6700), Days Inn (tel: 314 524 2500), Econo Lodge Bridgeton (tel: 314 731 3000), Embassy Suites St Louis Airport (tel: 314 739 8929), Hampton Inn Airport (tel: 314 427 3400), Hilton St Louis Airport (tel: 314 426 5500), Holiday Inn Airport/Oakland Park (tel: 314 427 4700), Howard Johnson’s Airport Hotel (tel: 314 731 3800), Renaissance STL Airport (tel: 314 429 1100) and the St Louis Airport Marriott (tel: 314 423 9700), which is just opposite the airport. Hotel shuttles to selected hotels depart from the Main Terminal exit 18. Courtesy telephone boards are located at exits 12 and 17.

Airport Disabled Facilities

The airport has elevators and disabled toilets. Wheelchairs are available from airlines or can be requested from security personnel. All parking lots are accessible to disabled travelers and every parking shuttle bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift.

Airport Conference and Business Facilities

Data ports telephones can be found throughout the airport. Some airlines provide executive lounges. There are no conference rooms available. St Louis Airport Marriott (tel: 314 423 9700), located opposite the airport, has a fully equipped business center, PCs, printers and wireless internet access in the hotel lobby, as well as 20 meeting rooms and secretarial support.

Directions

From I-170 southbound, take exit 7B, or northbound, take exit 7C. Continue on I-70 westbound to exit 238A for the airport. Alternative exits from I-70 westbound are exits 236 and 235C. From St Charles, or from I-270 from St Louis County or Illinois, approach on I-70 eastbound and take exit 235C at Cypress Road.

Car Rentals

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty all have desks on the lower level of the main terminal.
