The gateway to South Australia, Adelaide Airport was opened in 1955 and now serves more than six million passengers a year and about ten airlines. Taxi: There are taxi ranks at the Domestic and International terminal forecourts (journey time to the city center: 15 minutes) and all taxis are metered.
Bus: The Skylink Airport Shuttle operates every 30 minutes from the terminals during flight operation hours and links the airport with the city center.

All facilities at the airport are designed for persons with disabilities where necessary. There are elevators, ramps and designated toilets. Disabled parking is provided next to the entrance to the terminal building. There are TTY telephones for hearing-impaired travelers.
