Airline Overview
Founded in 1921 Mexicana is now the second largest airline in Mexico. With a center of operations at Mexico City International Airport, it flies to 50 destinations in North/Central/South America and the Caribbean. In 2005 it launched its own low-cost airline called Click Mexicana offering cheap domestic flights between Mexico City, Guadalajara and Veracruz.
For international flights, check-in is three hours before the scheduled flight departure; for domestic flights two hours.

Carry-on: One piece is permitted, with maximum weight of 22lbs for international flights and 11lbs for domestic flights.
Checked: Two items each not to exceed 55 lbs or 62 linear inches (length + height + width) on domestic flights. On international flights, a total of 128lbs is permitted per person in not more than two bags.
Excess: Fee for excess items is $25 for the first 22lbs, $100 for 23-55lbs and $200 for 57-111 lbs.
