Carry-on: One item is permitted, weighing up to 14lbs (8kg) and measuring up to 22 x 16 x 8in (55 x 40 x 20cm).
Checked: You can travel with items that weigh up to 44lbs (20kg). If you have a round-trip ticket and are staying more than 28 days at your destination, you can travel with up to 67lbs (30kg). These limits also apply to children and infants.
With a Top Bonus Card Silver or Gold, you can travel with sports equipment weighing up to 6lbs (30kg) and a baggage allowance increase of 22lbs (10kg).
Excess: No item over 70lbs (32kg) will be accepted. Excess baggage is charged at €5 per kg per flight.

Passenger names can be changed up to two hours prior to departure; this is handled as a rebooking and fees may apply. There is no rebooking fee for Top Bonus Card Gold cardholders and one adult and any children under 12 traveling with the cardholder as long as they all rebook at the same time and on the same flights.

Infants under two receive a 90 per cent discount on the price of an adult ticket and must be seated on the lap of an adult. Children under 12 receive a 33 per cent discount

Pets weighing less than 13lbs (6kg) can be carried on the plane. Pets over 13lbs must be carried in the hold in a container provided by the customer.

A menu of freshly prepared food is available onboard all Air Berlin flights with a minimum flying time of 90 minutes and a maximum flying time of four hours, for an extra cost (prices between €7 and €11).Additional menus cost roughly $10 (£5, €8). The six gourmet boxes as well as our generous breakfast vary depending on the time of day.
