The cooperation agreement applies to flights to over 40 European destinations served by the two airlines.

Airline overview

Air Berlin is Germany’s second-largest airline after Lufthansa and the sixth-largest in Europe in terms of passengers. It is a low-cost airline based in Germany that primarily flies to popular holiday destinations in Europe as well as "city shuttle" routes linking London and Manchester to Germany. The airline is expanding as a pan-European carrier covering destinations without German link-ups: recent new routes have included London direct to Majorca.
