Hundreds of travelers were stranded over the past few days as the 2010 ‘snowpocalypse’  bombarded the Atlantic states. As of this morning, Washington’s Dulles Airport reopened to commercial flights but a spokesperson at the airport said things were far from normal. Flights are still delayed and travelers should expect delays throughout the day.

Flights remained grounded at Reagan National Airport and Baltimore/Washington International has opened two runways for flight operations, according to its website.

The winter storm cancelled thousands of flights and while airports work to reopen the air space, travelers are advised to check with their airlines to confirm flight status before heading to airport.
