Famous New Yorkers have their plastic surgeon on speed dial, but we’re happy to report that no botox was required for this facelift.

The iconic W New York-Times Square – one of the first W Hotels opened – unveiled its newer, chicer Times Square digs.

W Hotels Worldwide debuted its Times Square property in December 2001. Since then, the hotel has opened five new developments in Manhattan and will open the W Hobokon and W New York-Downtown within the next year.

If you’re looking for New York hotels, this place might just fit the bill. All 509 guest rooms underwent a little nip-tuck to keep up-to-date with its trendy guests. According to a statement from W Hotels:

“Each room glows with dramatic highs and lows of light and color bringing an element of techno-glam cool. In addition, each room offers guests a variety of entertainment options, from W Hotels’ signature “Munchie” Box (W Hotels’ re-invention of the traditional Mini Bar), retro-designed Tivoli radios, iPod docking stations, and large flat-screen televisions mounted for rotation to ensure comfortable viewing from anywhere in the room.”

We’re intrigued by the ‘techno-glam’ theme … dark shades, glow sticks, or maybe a tricked-out mini-bar? If it comes with a disco ball and funky lighting, we’re there! Room rates start at $319 (advance purchase rate) for a weekend stay.
