If betting away your life’s savings on the roulette wheel isn’t your idea of a thrill, we don’t blame you. After all, why spend your time at the Vegas casinos when you could bungee jump off the Stratosphere, zipline through Fremont Street or fly through an indoor wind tunnel? If these adventures sound more like your idea of a thrill, read on for our Vegas guide for adrenaline junkies.

Stratosphere

The tallest building in Las Vegas has three scream-inducing thrill rides at the top: X-Scream, Insanity and Big Shot. The Insanity ride spins you 64 feet over the Stratosphere’s edge at speeds that reach three Gs. Big Shot catapults you up 160 feet before a series of free falls. And X-Scream will simulate the feeling of falling off the side of the Stratosphere as you dangle headfirst 27 feet over the edge.

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can opt for the SkyJump experience, where you’ll free fall from the tower’s 108th floor on a bungee cord.

Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Have you always craved the thrill of free falling, but aren’t too keen on actually jumping from a plane? In Las Vegas, you can get your thrills sans jumping out of a plane at Vegas Indoor Skydiving. The facility’s vertical wind tunnel has enough force to lift a person into the air, and your parachute-like suit will help keep you afloat as you experience free falling without actually, well, falling.

Flightlinez

If you’ve been to Las Vegas, chances are you’ve taken a stroll through Fremont Street, the heart of old Vegas. You may have even seen the Fremont Street Experience, the neon light canopy that covers this famous street. But even if you’ve already visited this Vegas attraction, you’ve probably never zipped through Fremont Street on a cable line. Flightlinez Fremont Street is an 800-foot zipline that sails adventure-seekers under the neon light canopy for a whole new Fremont Street experience. Half an hour outside Las Vegas, you can take your pick of one-and-a-half miles of ziplines at Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon.

Zero-G

Want to pretend you’re an astronaut and experience zero gravity? Zero-G flights simulate the experience on a modified Boeing 727. Las Vegas is one of ZERO-G ONE’s main flight locations, offering zero-gravity flights periodically throughout the year.

The Roller Coaster at New York, New York

New York, New York’s roller coaster is one of Las Vegas’ most iconic thrills, offering twists, turns and drops at up to 67 miles per hour. Looking to pump a little more adrenaline into your wedding day? Ceremonies are held daily at the roller coaster.
