Due to an air traffic controllers strike, all domestic and international flights to and from Greece will be canceled tomorrow (Wed., Dec. 10).

Panagiotis Hatzakis, secretary-general of the air traffic controllers’ union, told Reuters news agency: “All flights from and to Greek airports will be halted and only emergency flights will take place.”

British Airways, easyJet, Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines are just some of the carriers who canceled their Greece flights. Travelers on flights to Greece should call the airlines and make arrangements for future Greece flights and travel. Cheapflights.com lists airline contact information here.

This is the latest problem for travelers to Greece, after protests and riots have been causing chaos in the country over the last few days.

Cities including Athens, Patras and Thessaloniki have been a hotbed of violent demonstrations after the shooting of a teenager by Greek police.
