Last month, we brought you the world’s top 10 iconic kiss locales, which featured the Victory-over-Japan Day kiss in New York’s Times Square.

A new sculpture commemorating that kiss went up outside the USS Midway Museum in San Diego this week. Standing 25-feet tall and weighing seven tons, the sculpture replaced an earlier version of the same statue, which experienced some wear and tear and was removed last year.
