Six outlets at Philadelphia International Airport have picked up prizes at the Best Airport & Concessionaire Awards held as part of the 2009 Airport Revenue Conference and Exhibition.

The maximum number of gongs went to Vino Volo, an upmarket wine bar, which won five prizes including Highest Regard for Customer Service, Best Overall Retailer and Best Food & Beverage Operator.

Other outlets in Philadelphia that were recognized were the Paradies Shops, the Hudson Group, OTG Management, Taxco Sterling and Techshowcase.

Clarence LeJeune, president of MarketPlace Philadelphia Management, the manager of the food and retail outlets at the airport, said: “Our merchants are truly the best in the industry, and we’re thrilled to have so many award-winning stores and restaurants recognized at this year’s ARN awards.

“At MarketPlace Philadelphia Management, our goal is to bring only the best merchants to passengers at Philadelphia International Airport.”
