Oakland International Airport will be the location of the first Techshowcase store in the U.S.

Due to open in Terminal 2 tomorrow (Thursday, December 6), the outlet will stock a range of consumer electronics targeted at business passengers.

The Oakland branch will be the first of a planned 21 Techshowcase branches in the U.S., with a further eight planned for the nation’s airports.

Electronic items from Nokia, BlackBerry and Motorola will be available at Techshowcase, which is set to be one of several new stores in the revamped Terminal 2 at Oakland International.

Six new gates and a new baggage claim area have been added to Terminal 2 as part of improvements at the airport.
