A new franchise of Advantage Rent A Car will open today (Tuesday, July 1) at Pittsburgh International Airport.

This will be the second outlet for the car rental company at the airport and will be based in the main terminal building.

Robert P Gardill II, President of General American Rentals, which owns the new franchise, explained that the new in-terminal branch is the first part of an ongoing expansion plan.

He said: “We are extremely excited by the tremendous opportunity for the growth of the Advantage brand and look forward to working with Advantage to establish it as the premiere rental car provider in the Mid-Atlantic region.

“We are pleased to begin that growth by the opening of our in-terminal location at the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, a top 50 national airport.”
