In an era when in-flight cuisine means bringing your own lunch bag on board, airport eateries are flourishing. Everybody wants a piece of the action. The latest to get it, at least at Nashville International (BNA), is O’Charley’s. The sit-down or carry-out restaurant just opened restaurant out on BNA’s Concourse C.

Nashville is a major focus city for discount airline Southwest, and American Airlines enjoys a significant presence there too, the vestigial result of the days when the carrier had a hub at BNA.

Among the grab-and-go offerings at Nashville are pre-made salads: California Chicken Salad, and Southern Fried Chicken Salad. Fast sandwiches include a Black and Blue Caesar Wrap and a Club.

Nashville is in the process of expanding its eatery options as part of a $44-million makeover of the terminal complex.
