The Arizona Republic www.arizonarepublic.com reports that more ATMs are on their way to Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX) www.phxskyharbor.com – and they’ll be set up where passengers are, post-security.
The newspaper reports that Sky Harbor, the country’s seventh-busiest airport, intends to double the number of ATMs. Where there were a dozen cash machines, as of March plans are for 24.
Phoenix Sky Harbor is home base for US Airways and a significant focus city for discount airline Southwest.
