Check-in desks close 40 minutes before departure for short-haul flights and 60 minutes before departure for long-haul flights, though the airline advises arriving at the desk at least 90 minutes before departure for all flights.

Monarch Airlines baggage allowance
Carry-on: One item, not weighing more than 22lbs.
Checked: Items must not weigh more than 44lbs. Prices vary according to route. Infants have a baggage allowance of 66lbs, as long as the bag fee has been paid. Save money by paying for your luggage online.
Excess: For excess baggage booked online, there is a charge of £10 for the first 3kg and a charge of £7.50 per kg thereafter. At the airport, excess baggage costs £10 per kg
