The Marriott International hotel brand will soon launch it’s Residence Inn brand in Europe, with the first hotel set to open in Munich in 2011, according to Business Traveller online.

The Residence Inn is Marriott’s second largest brand with properties throughout North and South America and the Caribbean. The Residence Inn brand is focused to travelers seeking extended stay vacations, thanks to spacious suites with kitchenettes, separate seating areas and various in-room amenities including desk areas, wireless access and sofa beds.

The Munich Marriott Residence Inn is being built in the Haidhausen district, will have 122 units and will be connected to a 225-room Marriott Courtyard hotel. The Residence Inn Munich will offer guests a continental breakfast, limited dinner service in the evening, in-room WiFi access, a fitness room and sauna.
