Since becoming a state 222 years ago, Kentucky has given us plenty to appreciate. This is the state, after all, that gave us President Lincoln, the Louisville Slugger, bourbon and the pomp and circumstance of the annual Kentucky Derby, just to name a few. Add in the majestic sights of natural landmarks like the grand Mammoth Caves and Daniel Boone National Forest, and it’s easy to see why the Bluegrass State is worth a visit.
