Characterized by stunning views of the Rockies and friendly, down-to-earth residents who love a good craft beer in the Mile High City, Denver is one of the most exciting places to visit in the west. From summertime hikes to snowy winter resorts, Denver, is a city for all seasons.

Now, travelers in Nebraska can get a piece of it, right in time for ski season.

As of Dec. 1, Great Lakes Airlines will switch its Nebraska-Kansas City route, to go from Central Nebraska Regional Airport to Denver International Airport.  The switch is due to GLA simply following consumer trend: Fewer and fewer people were purchasing tickets to Kansas City from Nebraska, so the carrier will stop service.

Other cities Great Lakes Airlines flies to include Phoenix, Albuquerque, St. Louis, Billings, and Milwaukee.

Find a cheap flight to Denver for the perfect winter getaway.
