Add Flint’s Bishop International Airport (FNT) to the growing list of enlightened airports sporting free WiFi for flyers. The southeast Michigan field is used by some regional Detroit travelers as an alternative to larger Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

In a prepared statement, Airport Director Jim Rice says, “Every area of our building has been wired so you can connect to our complimentary Internet service.”

The Flint set-up is the essence of simplicity. “The login page does not require any access codes,” says Rice. “Just turn on your computer and launch the service.”

Among the other no-fee extras flyers will find at Flint: a business center where they can recharge laptops, cell phones and such.
