Flights from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Houston Hobby Airport are to resume today (Monday, September 15).

Flights from and to both airports were canceled on Friday in preparation for Hurricane Ike which hit the city at the weekend.

Limited service will start at both airports after terminals experienced some storm damage.

Passengers are advised to check with their airlines before heading to either airport and should arrive two hours before their flights are due to depart.

Motorists have been advised to use the JFK Boulevard entrance for Bush Intercontinental as flooding is still being reported at Will Clayton Parkway.
