Customers at LA/Palmdale Regional Airport (PMD) will have easier connections from September 5, when changes to flight schedules come into effect.
United Airlines has altered its flights out of PMD in response to feedback from travelers, travel agents, and local businesses.
Passengers looking to connect to East Coast flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will have greater choice and the 6am flight from PMD to SFO will allow more flexibility.
Mark Thorpe, Director of the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Air Service Development Division, commented on the changes.
“We’re pleased United has responded to feedback from business travelers who want an early morning departure from LA/Palmdale so they can take advantage of a vast number of connecting flights at SFO.”
Thorpe added: “We are also pleased that the new flight schedule will enable Antelope Valley/High Desert residents to fly to SFO in the morning, have a full business day in San Francisco and return that evening.”
From September 5, United flights to SFO will leave PMD at 6am and 11:47am, while the return service departs from SFO at 10:03am and 7:30pm.
