With the Coachella Music Festival just around the corner, many festival-goers are looking forward to the crazy after parties the festival brings. Even if you couldn’t score tickets to this sold-out festival, you can still create a Coachella experience at the star-studded parties that fill the desert on both weekends. Whether you’re looking for an after party or a mini-music festival to keep the vibes going between festival weekends, we have you covered.

Tachevah, April 17

This mid-week block party is being produced by Goldenvoice, the same force behind Coachella. Three local bands chosen through an online poll will perform. If you’ve been to Coachella in years past or were aboard the S.S. Coachella last winter, you may recognize DJ Alf Alpha, who’ll be keeping the beats going between live performances. Best of all, the Goldenvoice promoters are bringing Coachella artist Passion Pit to headline this free mini-music festival outside the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs.

Filter Yacht Club Pre-Party, April 11 & 18

Kick off both Coachella weekends at Filter’s annual party. This mini-Coachella boasts live music and DJs, plus giveaways and free-flowing food and drinks. RSVP here.

Desert Gold, April 11-21

The Ace Hotel is a sort of mecca for Coachella fest goers, so it’s little wonder why this hip hotel will have 11 days of music, pop-up record shops and poolside parties during Coachella. After Saturday’s shenanigans on the festival grounds, you can enjoy smooth, hangover-friendly sounds at The Ace’s Sunday Do-Over parties.

Neon Carnival

If there’s one party to try to score an invite to, it’s Neon Carnival. This all-out Coachella continuation includes food, drinks, carnival rides and lots of celebs. It’s invite only and held in a secret desert location, but if you can get on the list, this is the Coachella party that’s not to be missed.
