Ever wish you could downright disapparate, just like Harry Potter? The current crop of summertime temperatures trigger such thoughts. Continental Airlines can’t go quite that far, but it can fly you from your current sweltergrounds to different (hopefully somewhat cooler) climes.
Continental is running its regular weekend discount airfare sale, with round-trip rates starting at $99. If the temperatures aren’t any better where you’re headed, at least the scenery is different. That’s a start.
Book and buy no later than 11:59pm on Friday (August 17). Then, fly out Saturday (August 18) and return either on Monday (August 20) or Tuesday (August 21).
While these rates are round-trip, neither taxes nor fees are included. These discount airfares aren’t refundable, and they’re not changeable.
Here’s a sampling of what Continental is fielding this hot August weekend. We tried to stick to comparatively cooler routes.
