Members of Hilton HHonors and Delta SkyMiles can earn up to six times the number of miles usually awarded under a new promotion program.

The offer is available for HHonors and SkyMiles members who register at HiltonHHonors.com/sixtimesthemiles and then stay at one of the Hilton group’s hotels between Dec. 1 and Feb. 28, 2009.

Here’s how the program works:

For every dollar charged to the room, HHonor members earning Points and Variable Miles will earn 10 points and six airline miles, instead of the usual 10 points and one mile.

Meanwhile, HHonor members earning Points and Fixed Miles will pick up 10 points and 3,000 airline miles per stay, instead of 10 points and 500 miles.

Jeff Robertson, Delta’s Vice-President of Loyalty Programs, said: “Delta and Hilton, our preferred hotel partner, have created this generous offer to reward Hilton HHonors and Delta SkyMiles members for their ongoing loyalty.”
