Members of Alaska Airlines’ frequent-flyer program will be able to redeem points online using a new Internet booking system.

The “Award Finder” device allows passengers to view all the seats available to program members during a selected month. Previously, customers were only able to search for frequent-flyer reward seats one day at a time.

Rick Rasmussen, Alaska’s Director of Customer Loyalty, said: “We strive to make more award seats available than other carriers.

“Our new ‘Award Finder’ makes it even easier to find the best award itinerary available for travel where and when you want to go.”

Using the new tool, customers will be able to search for and book seats on flights operated by Alaska and its sister carrier Horizon Air.
