The iconic Encounter Restaurant at Los Angeles International reopens today after undergoing renovation.

While the panoramic 360-degree-view offered by the building will be partially obscured by ongoing external construction work, airport officials say the dinning schedule will be reintroduced gradually.

Connie Bass, Marketing Director for Encounter, told the Daily News: “We’ve been getting calls from people around the world asking about the progress, when the restaurant will reopen. We were told the scaffolding will be up for a while, which is one reason we’re easing back into our schedule.”

From today, Encounter will be open for lunch between 11am and 4pm, and for dinner on Fridays and Saturday only between 4pm and 9:30pm.
