Business Traveller UK has awarded the Best Airline Alliance Award to Star Alliance (Web site: www.staralliance.com) for a third consecutive year.

The awards are recognized throughout the industry and are based on a poll of the magazine’s readers between April and June.

There are 46 separate award categories, including hotels, car rental and luggage brands.

An additional eight of the 17 awards for which airlines are eligible were won by Star Alliance members, including six for Singapore Airlines (Web site: www.singaporeair.com) and one each for South Africa Airways (Web site: www.flysaa.com) and LOT Polish Airlines (Web site: www.lot.com).

Jaan Albrecht, Chief Executive of Star Alliance, said: “Receiving the Business Traveler Best Airline Alliance Award for the third consecutive year is continuing proof that Star Alliance continues to be the airline alliance of choice for the international traveler.

“My thanks also go to employees of our member carriers for delivering the Star Alliance customer promise across the worldwide network.”
