Southwest Airlines has announced details of a new dining program for Rapid Rewards members.

Under the new program, members can earn Rapid Rewards credit when they dine at one of 9,000 restaurants, bars and clubs in the U.S. and Canada.

Members will receive 0.25 credits as an enrolment bonus after the first $25 spent, and 0.25 credits for every $100 spent at participating outlets after that.

Ryan Green, Southwest Airlines’ Director of Customer Loyalty, said: “We are extremely pleased to bring this service to all of our Rapid Rewards members.

“With this program, our members can accumulate Rapid Rewards credits as they go about their daily lives. They just have to register their regular credit/debit card – and of course, there are no fees to join.”
