A number of new products designed to enhance customers’ in-flight experience will go on display and the end of the month. The technologies will be exhibited at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2009, to be held in Hamburg, Germany, between March 31 and April 2.

One highlight of the expo is a new flight information system that will allow passengers to watch a simulated view of their journey. The Lufthansa Technik Niceview allows travelers to track the progress of their flight through the eyes of the pilot but from the comfort of their own seat.

With high-resolution 3-D maps of the entire world, the technology will make customers feel that they are watching their progress from the cockpit.
