Sources confirm exclusively to Cheapflights.com that a major U.S. airline will soon unveil an adults-only route.

The first route will be from New York City (LGA) to Las Vegas (LAS), with further routes to Las Vegas to be added by fall 2009.

The flights, available to passengers age 21 and older, will include a fully-stocked bar, complimentary glass of champagne, a lounge area near the rear of the plane and seat-back entertainment featuring and a wide selection of On-demand movies and films.

Future endeavors may include expansion to include gambling facilities, pending state regulations.

“For anyone who’s ever had to listen to a crying baby during a five-hour flight, it’s a godsend,” the source told us. “People have made it clear that they will gladly pay more to avoid kids on a plane.”

The airline is expected to make an announcement within two weeks.
