Caribbean Travel: Non-stop Flights to Grenada from NYC

Laptop_beach It's been a long week. The presentation your prepared for the board bombed, you've got squirrels in your attic and the only piece of cheese left in your refridgerator has something growing on it. You need an escape – if only you could close your eyes and wake up somewhere in the Caribbean, cocktail in hand…

Starting July 13, if you're a New Yorker, you can.

Air Jamaica announced it will add a red-eye flight from New York City to Grenada. Grenada flights leave NYC Kennedy airport at 12:50 a.m. and arrive in Grenada the following morning at 5:30 a.m., just in time for breakfast on the beach.

We did a quick check on Air Jamaica's Web site and found non-stop flights to Grenada from New York starting at $279 one-way. Leave on a Friday and arrive Saturday morning, then hop a Sunday night flight and you're back in the office by lunchtime on Monday.

Looking at all those papers piling up on your desk must leave you feeling a little nervous about escaping. No worry, we suggest you simply throw a bathing suit in your briefcase and when you're ready, leave the office for the airport. Not a bad way to escape.
