Atlantic City International (ACY) is the gateway to Atlantic City, the New Jersey destination famous for flashy casinos, fine shopping and decadent dining. Flights to Atlantic City Airport connect to the Atlantic City and Southern New Jersey shore region and a host of local and international destinations. More than 50 airlines currently fly to and from Atlantic City International, and that number is set to increase.
The airport prides itself on its efficiency. According to the airport’s website, Atlantic City International offers the shortest wait time of any airport in the region. In fact, the average processing time to departing gate is a mere 11 minutes – for anyone who’s stood in endless lines waiting to go through security, this will come as good news.
The airport is much smaller than New York or Philadelphia (visitors joke that you can see from one end to the other) so if you’re looking forward to perusing the shops and restaurants for hours you will be disappointed, but staff are attentive, efficient and professional, and make the security process a breeze. Atlantic City International is located in Egg Harbor Township, a 20-minute drive from Atlantic City. The airport is easily accessible from major roadways.
Bus: The free SJTA TransIT Link shuttles run every half hour between Atlantic City airport and the Pleasantville bus terminal, from where you can catch other New Jersey buses.
Taxi: Taxis are available curbside. Alternatively, call 2002 from the courtesy phone nearby the baggage carousels. The airport is a stone’s throw from the city and a short cab ride away.
Getting into Town

Surface Parking is within walking distance and shuttle service is provided from the economy parking area to the terminal building. Shuttle service begins at 4am from the economy parking lot and is available for all arriving and departing flights.
The customer service desk is located to the immediate right of the main entrance. The customer service desk opens from 5am to 6pm daily, and the “travel ambassadors” there will gladly help you in any way they can.
Money and communications: There is an ATM on the second floor of the terminal, and a post office.
Luggage: Contact the central information desk for lost and found items.
Conference and business: A business center is located on the upper floor of the terminal.
Other facilities: A TSA Family Lane is available when going through security, allowing families and individuals with special needs to go through at their own pace.
Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal.
Shopping: Atlantic City International’s offerings in the way of shopping are modest, but there is Hudson News, a newsstand/gift shop, to grab last-minute snacks or reading material for the flight or a convenient souvenir for anyone who may have slipped your mind. Hudson News can be found on both the first and second floor of the terminal.
Food and drink: There are several dining options for travelers who are a bit peckish before their journeys. Euro Cafe/Hudson News offers a light bite or a coffee for those with not much time to spare, or you can grab a more substantial nibble at Deuce’s Wild or Thrashers, which offer everything from gourmet bagels and orange juice, to delicious breakfast sandwiches and platters. For more serious fare yet, check out Samuel Adams Brew Pub, which serves handcrafted American beers and hearty pub grub. The build-a-burgers are a must-try.
