If you’re a hardcore Beatles fan, there’s no doubt the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool and their music-making home of London are high on your travel list. This Beatles pilgrimage will take you through some of the most notable Beatles landmarks in London and Liverpool.

London
In London, you’ll be able to make the ultimate Beatles pilgrimage pit stop at Abbey Road, where you can pose for a photo on the famous zebra crossing and sign the walls in front of Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles recorded several albums.

Then, head to the London Beatles Store on Baker Street to load up on every kind of Beatles memorabilia imaginable. From cookie jars and cuff links to rare records and collectibles, any Beatles fan is sure to find a few items to add to their collection.

Your final London stop is the British Music Experience, where memorabilia like John Lennon’s glasses and Paul McCartney’s Hofner 500/1 bass guitar are on display.

Liverpool
Start at the John Lennon Peace Monument at Kings dock on the Liverpool Waterfront, which was unveiled in 2010 in celebration of John Lennon’s 70th birthday. Then, be sure to stop by the Beatles Story Museum, where you’ll relive the Fab Four’s glory days through the different exhibits.
Afterwards, Mathew Street and the Cavern Club, where the Beatles often performed, are must-visits. Don’t forget to snap a picture with the John Lennon statue in front of the club. Finally, make a reservation to rest your head at the Hard Day’s Night Hotel, a boutique Beatles-inspired property in Liverpool.
