Aeromexico check-in

For international flights, passengers with luggage must check in at least 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure. All passengers must be at the boarding gate 40 minutes before scheduled flight time. For flights within Mexico, passengers must be in the board area 30 minutes before the flight departs; with baggage, check-in is 60 minutes before the flight departs. Passengers without a boarding pass can check in using a kiosk or at the check-in counter 60 minutes before the flight departs.

Baggage allowance

Economy: One bag weighing up to 55lbs is included in the fare.

Premier: Two bags weighing up to 55lbs each are included in the fare.

Child fares

The cost of an infant’s ticket for flights to and from the United States is $35, while the cost on flights to and from Asia, Europe and South America is 10 percent of the regular ticket price. There is an additional $15 ticketing charge for infants.

Senior fares

Senior discounts are available on some flights up to 15% but do not apply to economy seats. Call airline reservations for senior discounts.

Pets

You may only travel with dogs, cats, and small caged birds which require a special permit from the authorities, vaccinations, and corresponding permits. Pets do not count toward the free baggage allowance and are only accepted in a cage, stowed in the baggage hold. On domestic flights, the cost to fly with your pet is $40 if you use the call center and $50 at the airport. The cost to fly with your pet is $80 if you use the call center and $90 at the airport for flights to and from the United States, Canada, Central America, Venezuela, Peru and Colombia. For flights to and from Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Europe and Asia, the cost of flying with your pet is $180 through the call center and $170 at the airport.

Carrying musical instruments

Musical instruments less than 45 inches total area can be brought on board as a carry-on item. A separate seat can be purchased for a large instrument or it can be checked in the aircraft’s baggage compartment.

In-flight service

Depending on the destination and duration of your flight, Aeromexico offers a range of dishes, a large variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as complimentary alcoholic drinks. Special meals can be requested before the flight; these include low-salt, diabetic, infant and Kosher menus. Call the reservations number below at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure time. Also depending on the destination and duration of your flight, there is also an array of music, movies, TV shows and video games updated regularly for your enjoyment.

Air miles

Club Premier is Aeromexico’s Frequent Flyer program, available under three different program options to best suit your travel needs: Classic Club Premier, Gold Club Premier and Platinum Club Premier. There are also corporate and Family Club options. Being a member of the Club Premier program entitles you to exclusive promotions and you can exchange the “Air Kilometers” you accumulate for a reward that works best for you.

In-flight magazine

Aire, Accent and Gran Plan are the in-flight magazines of Aeromexico. A selection of other leading newspapers and magazines are also available for your reading pleasure.
