Looking for a little spring travel inspiration? Check out these six April festivals that are worth a trip.

Semana Santa, April 13-20, Seville, Spain

Walpurgisnacht, or Witch’s Night, is celebrated throughout Germany’s Harz Mountains. It was once believed that witches and warlocks flew to sites throughout the mountains on April 30 for a night of wild excitement by bonfire, but today, it is the locals who dress as witches for a night of carefree antics late into the night. You’ll find some of the evening’s best festivities in the town of Thale. (Main image: John Shedrick)
