Colorado Springs Airport will have 15.8 percent fewer seats on arriving and departing flights this November compared to the same time last year, new research has revealed.

The study by LECG LLC found that there will be 1,154 fewer seats a day on flights flying in or out of the airport, the Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

Nearly half the capacity loss will come September 2 when ExpressJet Airlines ends a total of five daily round-trip flights from Colorado Springs to California.

Other cuts include two daily round-trip Midwest Airlines flights to Kansas City, which ended in April, and daily round-trip services to Las Vegas on US Airways.
