Ocho Rios Travel Information

• It's not a trip to Jamaica without a visit to the Bob Marley Mausoleum. The reggae master's grave site is located at the village of Nine Mile, about 40 miles south of Ocho Rios, where he lived until age 13. The two-room shack is open to visitors and filled with Marley memorabilia. Reggae concerts are held at Nine Mile each year on Feb. 6, in honor of Bob Marley's birthday.
• The Green Grotto Caves are one the most beautiful natural attractions in Jamaica. Located between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, this huge limestone cave is 5,003ft long and characterized by stalactites, stalagmites, overhead ceiling pockets, numerous chambers, light holes, and in its depths a subterranean lake.
• Swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove and make friends with some of the friendliest creatures on earth -- the Bottle Nose dolphins. Dolphin Cove is surrounded by lush tropical rain forest and it's easy to spend an entire day here exploring the marine life.
