Getting to the City Center

Rail: The train station is located directly below the terminal building. The Stansted Express rail service (tel: +44 (0)845 850 0150; Web site: www.stanstedexpress.co.uk) runs direct to London Liverpool Street Station, stopping at Tottenham Hale for connections to the West End. Central Trains (tel: +44 (0)121 634 2040; Web site: www.centraltrains.co.uk) operates a daily service to Birmingham. Taxi: Airport Carz (tel: +44 (0)1279 662 444) operates services to central London.

Coach: There are National Express coach services to London Victoria (A6), London Liverpool Street and London Victoria (A7) and Stratford (A9). The Terravision Express Shuttle (tel: +44 (0)1279 662 931) provides a non-stop service to London Victoria. Other services are available. The coach station is located in front of the terminal forecourt. Car Parking

There are short-, mid- and long-term parking lots, with short-term parking located very close to the terminal building. Pre-booking is available (Web site: www.eparking.uk.com). Regular coaches transfer passengers from the mid- and long-term parking lots to the terminal. For long-term parking, contact BAA Advance (tel: +44 (0)870 000 1000) to receive a discount or book online via the airport’s Web site. Parking for motorcycles is free in the designated (D) zone of the long-stay parking lot.

Airport Hotels

The Hilton London Stansted (tel: +44 (0)1279 680 800), located at the airport, offers a courtesy bus link to/from the terminal. The brand new Radisson SAS hotel has 500 rooms and is just two minutes via a covered walkway from the terminal building. Airport Disabled Facilities

There are wheelchair-accessible toilets throughout the airport, hearing loops and TTY telephones. All telephones are fitted with induction couplers. Reserved seating and parking are provided; courtesy transfer shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Ramps, lifts and elevators link all levels of the terminal building, including the station. Passengers requiring wheelchair and assistance boarding the aircraft should contact their airline prior to travel. All trains serving London Stansted Airport are equipped with facilities for disabled passengers; many coaches are not and passengers should check with the individual service providers.
