Koltsovo Airport is Russia's fifth-biggest airport in terms of international and domestic passenger traffic, and it is the principal airport in the Urals. It was established in 1943 and became an international airport in 1993. Rail: Koltsovo Railway Station is 1.25 miles from the airport. From the station, suburban trains to Ekaterinburg Central Station depart regularly. Connection to other destinations is possible at the Central Station. Information on suburban train timetables is available (tel: +7 3432 519 925).
Bus: Bus no.1 links Koltsovo Railway Station, Koltsovo Airport and Ekaterinburg Central Railway Station. Services run from 6:50am-11pm. Bus no.167 links Koltsovo Airport and Ekaterinburg Bus Terminal. Services operate 7am-10pm.
