General Mariano Escobedo International Airport is located near the city of Monterrey and serves about five million passengers each year. Most of its traffic is domestic, from cities such as Guadalajara, Tijuana and Mexico City. There is no public transportation from the airport. Taxi and privately hired cars are the only two options.
Taxi: Several taxi companies provide services to/from the airport (journey time: 30 minutes). Travelers can buy pre-paid tickets at designated airport desks. A minibus service is provided by Suburban (tel: 0052 (0)81 8332 3010).

The parking lot is located in front of the terminal building. Short- and long-term parking is available. The long-term parking is located at the rear of the parking lot, 91 yards from the terminals.

Money and communications: There is one Banamex bank and several ATMs at the airport. A post office is also available.
Eating and drinking: There are two restaurants, which both have bar areas.
Shopping: Duty-free Mexican food, alcoholic drinks, sports and accessories shops are all available.
Luggage: There are no luggage storage facilities at the airport.
