When it comes to music-themed getaways, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better hotel to fit your rock star-style getaway than the Hard Rock.

From in-room electric guitars and personalized playlists to incredible music memorabilia lining the lobbies of this iconic hotel chain, the Hard Rock Hotel is all about the music.

And now, you’ll be able to unwind in the hotel’s Rock Spa in proper rock star fashion with the new music-centric “Rhythm and Motion” spa treatments.

Using carefully curated playlists, amplified vibrations and rhythmic pressure, guests unwind to the beat with these new Rock Spa treatments. A vibrating massage table lets you feel the bass drop as a massage therapist moves in sync with the music throughout the spa treatment, creating a multi-sensory experience that the Hard Rock hopes will embody its “Live Hard, Purify Harder” motto.

Dubbing the experience “more Zeppelin than Zen,” Hard Rock International senior director of operations development Dale Hipsh said the new spa treatments will invigorate spa-goers the way a concert does.

“We looked to amp up the traditional spa menu to leave our guests energized and pumped up…,” said Hipsh. “The way a concert-goer feels after seeing a mind-blowing show.”

There are four Rhythm and Motion treatments for spa guests to rock out to:

  • Synchronicity: This massage combines pulsation, pressure and rhythm with top hits from yesterday and today and the guests choice of essential oils “to create an experiential journey.”
  • Smooth Operator: Meant to “retune the skin and rock the soul,” this two-parter starts with a dry brushing ritual that uses sweetgrass to remove dead skin and ends with a hydrating and detoxifying body wrap.
  • Face the Music: This facial is meant to have you glowing like a rock star, thanks to sound vibration and organic products meant to rejuvenate and hydrate.
  • Wrap Remix: A shot of ginger tea and the sweetgrass dry brushing ritual start off this indulgent treatment. After the dry skin is removed, guests enjoy a 50-minute rhythm and motion massage and a cleansing mask, topped off with a shot of detox tea.

Would you try one of these music-centric spa treatments?
