If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians you may have already seen the paradise that is Casa de Campo. The reality show filmed two episodes at the luxury Dominican Republic resort. It’s also been a vacation home for many other celebrities including Jay-Z, Beyonce, the Jonas Brothers, Drake, Pitbull and Cameron Diaz.

The property is situated on the southeastern coastal town of La Romana and features three award-winning golf courses, a polo and equestrian center and a shooting range. There’s also an eco-friendly spa and 13 tennis courts.

The world famous Le Cirque restaurant has an outpost here, The Beach Club by Le Cirque, and there is a handful of gourmet Italian restaurants as well as Lago Grill, a Dominican eatery serving specialties like fried chicken and cassava empanadas along with entertainment from a folk band.

There’s an assortment of accommodations at Casa de Campo, from hotel rooms to Oceanfront Villas. Prices start at $250 a night.

On the excursion front, animal lovers should partake in the Hacienda Higueral Tour which shares the history of a cattle and horse breeding ranch. Las Maravillas Cave is a 100,000 year old cave with stunning geological structures and the Tabacalera De Garcia Cigar Factory is the largest hand-made factory of its kind in the world.

Ready to book a ticket? Getting there is easy. La Romana airport is just eight minutes away while the bigger Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo takes about an hour. Punta Cana International is 70 minutes away.
