Kamakura Daibutsu, Japan

Tian Tan Buddha, Hong Kong

Also called the Big Buddha, Tian Tan Buddha is a large bronze statue that sits on top of Mount Muk Yue in Hong Kong.

Wat Mahathat, Thailand

Inside these ruins in Ayutthaya, Thailand, you’ll find this pristine Buddha head nestled within tree roots.

Leshan Giant Buddha, China

This statue of Maitreya Buddha was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996.

The Reclining Buddha, Thailand
