It’s almost the weekend, so we’re publishing our pick for next weekend’s travel deal destination. In honor of Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, there’s no better place to go than Mexico, and who can resist the lavish beaches of Acapulco? If you’re interested in tossing back a few cervezas and relax in the sun, then get ready to travel to Acapulco – we’ve found the cheapest airline tickets and hotel deals on the map.

Travel dates: Friday, May 7 – Monday, May 10

Hotel: Fairmont Acapulco Princess
Uttering the name Fairmont immediately conjures images of luxury and paradise, which is precisely what you can expect from the Fairmont Acapulco Princess. After recently undergoing a $30 million renovation, the beachfront resort boasts an exclusive luxury beach enclave called the Pearl.

Settled on 480 acres of legendary Mexican scenery of the Pacific shoreline and hilly jungles mixed with contemporary design, The Fairmont Acapulco Princess is just 20 minutes from downtown’s nightclubs and restaurants, and a few minutes from the airport. The main building, designed as a 15-story Aztec pyramid, is surrounded by lush gardens, a pool, Turtle Dunes Country Club, a spa, and fine-dining restaurants.

While Fairmont hotels around the world usually cost anywhere from $400-600 a night, we’ve found rooms this weekend for just $128 per night.

Flights: While flights to Acapulco from the US can reach as much as $700, we found a few flights that broke the mold:
Boston flights to Acapulco, from $478
Los Angeles flights to Acapulco, from $409
Phoenix flights to Acapulco, from $513
New York flights to Acapulco from $478
