You’d be hard put to find an airport anywhere on the planet with more “craft beer” bars than Portland International (PDX). With the addition of the Rogue meeting hall, the Oregon aerodrome now harbors seven, count ‘em, craft beer purveyors: Rogue, a pair of locations for Laurelwood Public House, Stanford’s, Pizzicato, Gustav’s, and Rose City Café.

The new Rogue enclave is ensconced out on D Concourse, home to Continental Airlines, KLM, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, Lufthansa, Mexicana, and Northwest Airlines.

So, what’s to drink? It isn’t your average beer. Stouts, porters, ales and lagers are on tap. Try Kells Irish Lager, or maybe Dead Eye Ale. For those with particular pallets, there’s Hazlenut Brown Nectar or Brutal Bitter.

Beer too heavy for the flight ahead, but still want a spirit that’s really different? Consider Hazlenut Spice Rum, or Spruce Gin.
