Playa Blanca Travel Information

Playa Blanca is still undergoing construction in some parts and is still developing, but because it’s still lower on the radar, cheap flights to Playa Blanca are easily booked. It’s not as developed as other Lanzarote resort towns, but Playa Blanca is far more tranquil than the bustling beach cities of Lanzarote and Tenerife.

Though Playa Blanca is best known for its soft, sandy beaches, there are plenty of other attractions to keep you busy during your Playa Blanca vacation. Take a leisurely stroll down the promenade in the center of town with its harbor views, or venture out to Faro de Pechiguera, the light house of the island. The Faro de Pechiguera is a relatively new structure built in 1986, but the walk to the light house provides exceptional views of the neighboring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos.
