Walker Art Center
The Walker Art Center is one of the best places in the country to see contemporary art. The museum’s permanent collection of 20th-century paintings, drawings, prints, photography and sculptures is internationally renowned. The works displayed come from various styles and top artists, including multimedia installations and live performances. The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden next door is the largest urban sculpture park in the country and covers an enormous area of parkland with contemporary art like Frank Gehry’s Standing Glass Fish.

Opening time: Sculpture Garden: Daily, 6am – midnight. Galleries: Closed Mondays. Tuesday to Sunday 11am – 5pm.
Admission: Adults - $10. Discounts available. Sculpture Garden is free. Free on Thursdays 5 – 9pm and first Saturday of each month.
